GlowShift’s 1/8-27 NPT Transmission Test Port Extender is required when installing any of our transmission temperature gauges to 5.9 Cummins 68RFE, 48RE and 545RFE transmissions. If this extender is not installed, your Ram’s internal transmission parts will break the sensor which could result in major damage. This 1/8-27 NPT adapter will extend the transmission test port, allowing you to easily install your transmission temperature gauge’s temperature sensor.

GlowShift’s Dodge Ram Cummins Transmission Line T-Fitting Adapter allows you to easily install your 1/8-27 NPT transmission temperature sensor directly to the 1/2” transmission cooler feed line for extremely accurate readings. This adapter is required on the 2007.5+ and 6.7L Cummins, and is the only way to install a Transmission Temperature Gauge for these model years.

This adapter is available for the 24v 5.9L Cummins, allowing you to easily install your fuel pressure sensor directly to the fuel filter housing with the protection of the snubber valve. The snubber valve eliminates fuel pressure spikes that are present during the initial ignition and startup.
