We know there aren’t a whole lot of locations for installing oil pressure and oil temperature sensors in a 7.3 Powerstroke. We experienced that first-hand when we were doing modifications to a couple Ford trucks we had on-site for custom work.
There had to be an easier way to get it done. So after a few different installs, we decided to figure out a shortcut and make the process easier. We took one of the oil filter adapters we sold and modified it for the 7.3 Powerstroke. It worked out so well that we decided to produce more. The end result is GlowShift’s Oil Filter Sandwich Adapter for the 1994-2003 7.3 Powerstroke.
With this oil filter sandwich plate adapter you save a bunch of time and effort installing up to (4) 1/8-27 NPT oil pressure or oil temperature sensors. One of the best parts is that you don’t have to make any major changes to your truck.
This oil filter adapter is made specifically for the 1994-2003 7.3 Powerstroke. With a 1-1/2”-16” thread fitting, all you gotta do is install the adapter directly onto the oil filter mounting location. Then you thread a new oil filter right into the adapter. This eliminates the need to drill into the oil pan or remove any stock sensors.
You receive parts for the oil filter sandwich adapter install. We include (4) 1/8-27 NPT Flush Mount Port Plug Threads for any ports that aren’t in use. A Dual O-Ring gasket delivers a leak-free seal. This oil filter sandwich adapter is built from aluminum and designed to be durable and long lasting.
We also include instructions that walk you through the install step by step. If you have any questions along the way, just give us a shout because Free Lifetime Tech Support is always included for our customers and we’re happy to help.
