Center Console Gauge Pods for Classic Buick Models
A G-Body floor shift console model pod for the 1985-1987 Buick Grand National has a subtle, stealth-like appearance to easily monitor (2) 2-1/16” (52mm) Grand National gauges from the center console location. The Grand National gauge pod is made specifically for this Buick year range and sits flush on the factory console. Each pod is featured in OEM black and has a nearly effortless installation process. There is also a cutout on the back for wire access to route the gauge’s sensor and power wiring without modifying the pod.

What is the installation process for a Buick gauge pod?
The installation process depends on the type of gauge pod you select. If it’s a Buick Pillar Pod, the gauge pod mounts directly on top of the factory A-pillar. We include push-in mounting fasteners for the process which is all you will need. The Console Pod fits right into center consoles with a floor shifter without requiring any hardware. The Overhead Pod seamlessly mounts to the overhead console using provided adhesive tape and the factory screws.
Can I install the gauge pod myself, or should I hire a professional?
We recommend using a licensed professional to install Buick Gauge Pods at GlowShift, However, we also provide a detailed roadmap with all of the steps required for installation.
