Why Do I Need An Outside Air Temperature Gauge?
Outside temperature readings are factory in most new cars and trucks. When we made our ambient air temperature gauge we had owners of classic vehicles in mind where that feature isn’t always available. If your car or truck doesn’t have a stock outside air temperature sensor, installing GlowShift’s auto outside air temperature gauge will keep you alerted to changing temperatures from -20° to 120° Fahrenheit (analog version) or -40° to 200° Fahrenheit (digital version). Ambient Temp Gauge for Cars and Trucks
Each auto outside air temp gauge is part of a complete gauge kit that comes with everything needed for installation. Included you’ll receive an Electronic Ambient Temperature Sensor, 18’ Sensor Harness, 5’ Power Harness, Gauge Visor and Mounting Hardware. You can also select a Gauge Series which is what gives the gauge its look. The 10 Color Digital Series features a black gauge face, low profile tinted lens, and 10 color options for the ultra-bright LED display. The MaxTow Series is our Double Vision™ truck gauge series with dual analog and digital readouts. You can also choose between a black or white gauge face and blue or green LED display. With this outside air temp gauge for cars and trucks you’ll be able to take extremely accurate readings utilizing a truck and car gauge that also enhances the interior of your vehicle.
Do you have a digital temp gauge for outside air temperature?

Do your gauges include an ambient air temp gauge sensor?
They sure do. The gauge kit includes an electronic outside air temp gauge sensor. The sender has a built-in mounting clip so it can be mounted to the front of the truck on the radiator support using a factory or aftermarket bolt or screw.
Is your ambient air temp meter a waterproof temp gauge?
The sensor is waterproof and built to stand up to harsher conditions. The temp gauges are not and we recommend installing them in a dry location in your vehicle. The temp gauge sensor and included 18’ sensor wire harness both have waterproof connectors for a leak-free seal.
