Pros: Nice, clean looking design...does what it is supposed to do. Replaced an existing gauge that was original to the truck (1996) and installed easily. Cons: The original gauge cluster on my semi's dash are chrome trim ring and are true "analog" in that the dial is black, numbers are visible during the day, and then back-lit when lights are on. This one is different and it doesn't match...black trim ring and always lit up. Also, the color choices don't even come close to the original gauge's "orange" glow. But, it looks clean, I set it off with blue background with red needle. It is easy to see where we are at on the boost. This gauge goes to 60 psi...I was a little surprised to see the max boost achieved is under 30 psi...the original gauge went to 30 and, it would peg out when winding the motor up. But, my mechanic pointed out that the old gauge had a "resting" point at about 5-7 psi, so, it was probably off by that much. I do plan to upgrade the turbo and exhaust manifold, so, I anticipate the new one producing around 38-40 PSI, hence why I wanted to make sure we were getting an accurate reading for now and then. The folks at GlowShift couldn't have been more helpful and, we took advantage of an email price reduction they were offering which in essence paid for the shipping. I suppose if I replaced ALL my gauges, we'd have a matched set, but, the rest work find and, honestly, I like the chrome rings. I suppose if I took my time, found a small paint brush, I could change the color of the outer ring, but, I just don't think I am quite that skilled or anal!
